The RMS Titanic Miscellany is the quintessential book to learn just about all you ever wanted to know about this magnificent leviathan; from the men here at the shipyard who built her right through to the aftermath following her untimely disaster. A must-have book for all the Titanic enthusiasts. - Robert J Cooper, Chief Executive, Harland & Wolff Heavy Industries Limited

There is something here for everyone who is interested in learning more about the world's most famous passenger liner, RMS Titanic. This book is neither a work of reference, nor a compendium of lists, nor a collection of biographies, nor a compilation of trivia. In fact, it is a gloriously quirky mixture of all these things and much more besides. Within these pages, the reader will enjoy hundreds of fascinating facts about Titanic on a wide range of topics - from her sister ships, to the Harland & Wolff Shipyard where she was built. Discover Thomas Andrew her architect, Titanic's maiden voyage, Captain Smith, the passengers onboard, and the ship's construction and dimensions. Learn about the signals of ice warnings the vessel received, the moment she struck the iceberg, the shortage of lifeboats and extraordinary accounts of heroism aboard Titanic when it was clear she was going to sink. There is even a sprinkling of entries covering Titanic memorabilia and James Cameron's epic multi-Oscar award-winning movie made in 1977, Titanic.
